Lisa Bryan-Conforti has dedicated her life to shaping the next generation, as a teacher at Rustin High School and cheerleading coach. She is a proud graduate of both Henderson High School and West Chester University. As an art history teacher and a mother of two, she understands firsthand the challenges and opportunities that families in West Chester face every day. Now, she’s ready to bring that same passion and dedication to Borough Council—to ensure that West Chester remains a place where families thrive, businesses grow, and our community stays strong.

Lisa Bryan knows that leadership is about listening, learning, and taking action. She is ready to bring fresh ideas and a teacher’s heart to Borough Council—because when we invest in community, sustainability, and local businesses, everyone benefits.

Holding a Master’s degree in administration and having a finance background before my 25-year teaching career, I offer a distinctive viewpoint for this role. My experience as an equity leader for over fifteen years has equipped me with the skills to listen attentively and weigh various perspectives when making decisions.

My roots in West Chester run deep—from attending the West Chester Area School District and West Chester University to teaching and coaching within our schools. As a mother of two, I have cherished raising my family in the borough, where we have enjoyed the lively parks and historic neighborhoods. This is why I hold green spaces and the preservation of history close to my heart. As an art history teacher, I recognize how public art can enrich our community.

My experiences living in various neighborhoods throughout the borough have given me a deep understanding of our community and its local businesses. West Chester is filled with a rich history and unique charm that we must strive to protect. Over the years, I have witnessed West Chester evolve into a vibrant destination, and I am committed to supporting that growth while being mindful of our infrastructure.

Lisa’s plan for Borough Council focuses on four key priorities

✅ Supporting Small Businesses & Economic Growth

West Chester’s charm and success come from its vibrant local businesses. Lisa will fight to cut red tape for small businesses, support local entrepreneurs, and ensure that our local economy remains strong, so that West Chester continues to be a great place to work and live.

✅ Enhancing Public Safety & Community Well-Being

Every family deserves to feel safe in their neighborhood. Lisa will advocate for responsible investments in public safety, improved pedestrian infrastructure, and initiatives that foster stronger relationships between residents and first responders.

✅ Protecting Our Parks & Green Spaces

As an art teacher, Lisa believes that beautiful, accessible public spaces are essential for a thriving community. She will work to protect and improve our parks, invest in sustainability efforts, and ensure that West Chester remains a green, walkable, and welcoming place for all.

✅ Restoring Rail Service to West Chester

A connected community is a thriving community. Lisa supports the restoration of regional rail service to West Chester, providing residents with expanded transportation options, reducing traffic congestion, and boosting economic growth for local businesses.
